Matt Munroe is an actor, musician, and filmmaker hailing from Cape Cod MA. Growing up in Vermont, the mountains of New England provided a landscape for adventure and imagination. After graduating from the
American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York and participating in the school’s exclusive, 3rd year theater company, Matt moved to Los Angeles to delve further into his passions. After nearly 20 years away from home, Matt and his wife, Josie moved back to Vermont in late 2022.
Matt can be seen in films such as
Bone Cold,
Discarnate, and
Independence Day: Resurgence. His first two self-written and self-directed features,
Dead English and
Foul Mouth are both in post-production. As a songwriter and guitarist, Matt is prepping to release his second EP,
Deeper Roots. His debut album,
